Real butterfly wings are used after their natural passing and turned into wearable art. They are acquired from butterfly farms worldwide and information cards are included to learn more.

These wings are from the Rice Paper butterfly and are 2.5 inches long. The wings are hand cut and permanently sealed in resin to brass findings. The earrings are extremely lightweight and waterproof. The earring hooks are 925 sterling silver with gold plating. Due to working with natural supplies each product may slightly vary than what is pictured. The wings are iridescent and change hue's of color at different angles!

Please allow 3–5 days for us to make and prepare your order, then 3–5 business days for USPS delivery in the U.S. Free U.S. shipping on orders $50 and over; about $7.50 under $50. We ship internationally (rates at checkout). Returns accepted within 30 days, and we'll fix or replace anything that arrives broken.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
