Asana Natural Arts: Additional Terms

Natural materials and variation. Our jewelry and artwork are handmade with real butterfly, moth and insect specimens. Because every specimen is unique, the color, size, pattern and minor natural imperfections of the piece you receive may differ slightly from product photos. These variations are part of each piece’s natural character and are not defects.

Ethical sourcing. All specimens are collected after natural death on preservation farms. All species we sell are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Custom orders. Pricing, design details and timing are confirmed with you in writing before work begins. Custom pieces usually take 1–2 months to complete, plus shipping. Because custom pieces are made specifically for you and may include personal photos, names or quotes, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or differ from the approved design.

Returns and refunds. Returns and refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

International orders. Some countries restrict or prohibit the import of insect specimens. International buyers are responsible for following their country’s import rules and for any customs duties, taxes or fees. We are not responsible for orders refused, delayed or seized by customs.

Care and handling. Our pieces are delicate. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from moisture, and handle jewelry with care. Damage from mishandling, water or prolonged sun exposure after delivery is not covered.
