Real butterfly wings are used after their natural passing and turned into wearable art! Nothing is done to harm the butterfly. They come from butterfly farms worldwide and information cards will be included to learn more.

These wings are from the Delias Hyparete butterfly and they are laminated making them very durable and waterproof. Each pair is finished with crescent moon pendants. Due to working with natural supplies each product may slightly vary than what is pictured. Finished wings are attached to hypoallergenic surgical steel earring hooks and two earring backs are included. Other earring hook options are available upon request.

These always make a good gift for friends! Jewelry will be shipped in a bubble-wrapped envelope with the USPS and take an average of 3 to 5 days to reach anywhere in the continental U.S. or 7 to 10 days for any international destination.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
