Embrace the profound beauty of imperfection. This original mixed-media shadowbox pairs a genuine Blue Morpho butterfly with a powerful affirmation: "I am damaged, I am beautiful, and I choose me."

I intentionally design these pieces using butterflies that show natural wear, frayed wings, or gentle damage. This is a deliberate metaphor for the human experience—a daily visual reminder that our trials, scars, and unique journeys do not diminish our brilliance, but rather make us wholly beautiful.

As an artist who has spent the last 15 years curating pieces that bridge the natural world with human emotion, environmental stewardship remains at the heart of my work. Every butterfly is ethically gathered from preservation farms worldwide. These organizations are actively dedicated to protecting critical rainforest habitats and supporting regenerative land practices, ensuring that your artwork contributes directly to the health of our planet.

Hang this piece in your home as an uplifting anchor, encouraging you to believe in yourself and choose your own well-being every single day.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
