Handmade in Utah · Ships in 3–5 days · Species info card included

Real butterfly wings are used after their natural passing and turned into wearable art! Butterflies are acquired from preservation farms worldwide and information cards will be included to learn more.

The butterfly wing measures approximately 1”x1”. The wings can be finished in a thick lamination (similar to the thickness of cardstock paper) or in jeweler's grade resin. The resin finish is considered higher quality and is approximately 1/8" thick with a glossier look. Both options are durable, lightweight, and waterproof. Due to working with natural supplies each product may slightly vary than what is pictured.

Please note that choosing the resin option will delay shipping. Resin takes 3-5 days to fully cure. Message me if you have any questions.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
