A real butterfly wing is used after its natural passing. Butterflies come from preservation farms that protect their environment and increase their survival rate. Information cards will be included with more detail.

This butterfly wing is hand cut and permanently preserved with resin inside a kite finding. Resin is a glossy finish and fully protects the wing making it waterproof and durable. The pendant is double sided so you can see both sides of the butterfly wing. This necklace is made to last and makes a great gift as well as a conversation starter.

Every piece is handmade to order. Please allow 3–5 days for us to make and prepare your order, then 3–5 business days for USPS delivery in the U.S. Free U.S. shipping on orders $50 and over; about $7.50 under $50. We ship internationally (rates at checkout). Returns accepted within 30 days, and we'll fix or replace anything that arrives broken.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
