Imagine being whisked away on a new journey by real butterflies in this hot air balloon artwork piece. All butterflies are acquired from preservation farms after living a full life and come with information cards. Each art piece is lovingly handmade by Asana Natural Arts in Salt Lake, Utah.

This makes a great memorial piece! Select the custom background option and email a photograph of your loved one(s) to asanallc@gmail.com, and we will create a custom poster with them inside the basket. We will communicate with you during the design process to make sure the photo turns out the way you want.

Each piece turns out different. You will receive a similar piece as seen in the listing photos.

Item will be shipped with the USPS and takes 3 to 5 days to arrive domestically (within the U.S.) or 7 to 10 business days for international orders.

Shipping & returns

Every piece is handmade to order. Please allow 3–5 days for us to make and prepare your order, then 3–5 business days for USPS delivery in the U.S. Free U.S. shipping on orders $50 and over; about $7.50 under $50. We ship internationally (rates at checkout). Returns accepted within 30 days, and we'll fix or replace anything that arrives broken.

Where our butterflies come from

Every butterfly lived a full life on a preservation farm and was collected after it died naturally. The farms protect rainforest habitat, and about 80% of farm-raised eggs reach adulthood versus about 5% in the wild. All species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn more

Caring for your piece

Wings are permanently sealed in jeweler's-grade resin, which is durable and water resistant. Keep framed art out of direct sunlight and away from humidity to keep colors vibrant.
