Preservation Farms

Our butterflies and other specimens live a full life and are collected after their natural passing in butterfly farms worldwide. Eggs laid on leaves in the wild rainforests are collected and hatched in the farms. Butterflies are then released back into the wild and the cycle repeats. Since butterflies live an average of 3 weeks some pass on before being released, which are acquired by Asana Natural Arts. All our species are approved by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Organization. Your purchase supports butterfly preservation and actually saves butterflies and their existence in the rainforest!
 

About 5% of butterfly eggs survive to adulthood in the wild, whereas this number jumps to 80% in farms.

Who is Asana Natural Arts?

The earth graces us with its beauty for short periods of time. More often than not, this beauty is remote or goes unnoticed. Nature enthusiast, Zell Lee, began Asana Natural Arts in 2010 to make nature more a part of everyone's daily lives. This desire has driven her motivation to create unique, handcrafted pieces made in the USA, each with its own story. We have perfected our methods for preserving nature into quality pieces that add character to every customer who takes part in our business. Zell travels the world to find new specimens and nature items to maintain a fresh product line. The word "Asana" stands for a still, meditative yoga position that resembles the still life artwork our company creates. What is your return policy?

Refunds are given up to 30 days for retail orders and 60 days for wholesale orders. Other return requests will be granted on a case by case basis. We want you completely satisfied, please contact us first if there are issues with your order. Once products have been returned in the same condition sent we initiate a refund for the original cost of the product (this does not include shipping costs).

Are your products real?

Absolutely! All our products come from real nature items that have lived a full life. This includes butterfly wings, beetle wings, 4-leaf clovers, porcupine quills, seashells, flowers, and more! Information cards are included with each item to learn more.

Are your products fragile?

It is our highest priority to make quality pieces that last. All of our products are completely sealed and waterproof for ultimate protection. If for any reason our products do happen to break down contact us right away so we can send you a new one.

Does my product require special care?

Our products are long-lasting but can naturally fade overtime as all other things do with exposure to sunlight. Store in a cool environment and avoid direct sunlight or extreme heat conditions for long periods of time to ensure the vibrant, natural colors last.

Do you accept custom requests?

Of course! There is no additional charge for custom orders. Please contact us with what you have in mind. We have over 50 different butterflies to choose from and a large variety of other nature items. Custom requests are ideal for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or other life changing events. 

How long until my product will arrive?

You will receive a tracking number when your order ships. Once shipped, packages take 3 to 5 days to arrive within the United States and 2-3 weeks for international orders. International orders only provide tracking information within the United States. The last update will be when the package departs customs.

How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance. You can still pay with your credit card without having a PayPal account. If you wish to pay differently (money orders, checks, partial payments) then contact us first to arrange your order.
